Join us at our end of the summer Budweiser Burger Fest!

Enjoy a slew of events this summer, with grilling competition, cornhole & pickleball tournament, beer sprints and paddleboard race and much more at the Budweiser Burger Fest event happening on August 2nd (Saturday) 2025 at Marianas Beach Resort Hotel Saipan.

Marpac Inc. in collaboration with Triple J Saipan-Certified Angus Beef, MBR, Marianas Variety and other major sponsors plus organizers such as CNMI Cornhole Association, Pickleball Federation of the Northern Mariana Islands, Marianas Surf Skate League, and Run Saipan Club will be hosting a day of events at the Beach, Garden, and Tennis court area of Marianas Beach Resort Hotel beginning 2pm to 7pm.

Grill Competition Concept

Maximum of eight 2-person grill teams compete for the best Certified Angus Beef burger. Teams will register in advance. Registration forms will be available by at Marpac. First 8 teams to sign up and pay $75 fee are entered. Meat will be provided by Triple J Saipan, but teams must provide grill, grill tools, condiments, other recipe ingredients, and presentation items (plates, napkins, etc.). On Saturday, August 2nd, teams will assemble at Marianas Beach Resort Hotel, Garden Area. Budweiser tents will be set up for branding and shade. Registration will begin at 1:00pm, competition will begin at 3:00pm to 4:00pm and judging will begin by 4:10pm.

Judging

Entries will be judged by a team of three (3) judges. Burgers will be scored on aroma, taste, texture, and overall presentation. The scoring system will be judged on a linear scale from 1 (bad) to 10 (excellent). Judges will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes based on overall point values.
